Long-term friendship of the popular author and performer David Divad with the Russian and American pop singer Anatoly Mogilevsky acquired a musical format, resulting in a duet of artists called Friends. Today, a new song has appeared on all digital storefronts.
“We constantly communicate with Anatoly via Skype, since he lives on another continent,” says David, “he is a very kind person, a believer, and wise. One of my closest friends, whom I trust completely. And one day, in another conversation, I showed him a demo version of the song “Friends”. After listening to it, he immediately asked again: who will perform it? I replied that I could give it to him, I don’t feel sorry for anything for him. And he offered to perform it together.”
Especially in order to record a new composition, Anatoly Mogilevsky flew to Russia. So the whole song is literally imbued with devotion and touching kindness, which only true friendship can give ...
“The longer you live in the world, the fewer friends you have. Either we get to know each other better and, disappointed, we part, or close people leave for another world. I have lost three very dear friends in the past year. All this: experience, awareness of values make you understand the situation more deeply and draw conclusions. And then the Muse comes and musical compositions are born dedicated to these conclusions, and I want to share them with others. Sing about it! The new song says: “There are few reliable friends in life. You should value your friends!” says David.
