The XI International Port of Petrovsky Assembly Music Festival opened in Makhachkala, organized by the Dagestan State Philharmonic Society with the support of the Head of the Republic of Dagestan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Dagestan.
The event will give residents and guests of the city the opportunity to see the performances of eminent musicians from Dagestan, Azerbaijan, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Spain.
Yesterday, on the opening day of the festival, a jazz music concert was held at the Kumyk Theater. The singer from Turkey Sibel Kose and the St. Petersburg trio of Alexey Cheremizov performed for the audience.
Performances by eminent artists from different parts of the world will last until October 26.
