Chacha. Chimes in the Fog | Caucasian music

We present to you a new musical group - the Sochi group “Chacha”, created by Agasi Metsritsyan and Yegor Filonov. Today the guys presented their debut track, “Chimes in the Fog,” as well as a humorous video shot for this song. Agasi Metsritsyan spoke in more detail about the single, the video, as well as about the group as a whole:

“The group appeared unexpectedly, but very quickly. At pre-New Year's corporate events this year, we work in the same creative union in a restaurant of my good friend: I am the host, Egor is the DJ, and Lilya is the singer. We hold events together and perform at them. When the head of this establishment had the idea to make a humorous video, he asked me to do it, since I had previously worked on humorous music advertising content on Instagram.
Initially, we planned to use a different track, but when we got together to work in the studio, Egor Filonov, who writes all our songs, brought a new project. At first we didn’t take it in, but then we finally found something interesting in it. As a result, the finished song with new words was written on the same day, in the same studio, but we still didn’t know what to call the single. But we started filming the video, which also turned out spontaneously and very exciting. I invited my friends who had previously participated in the filming of my other projects. The atmosphere was wild! Each of the participants really wanted to leave a “piece of themselves,” thereby bringing their own ideas to both the script and the drawing of the images. Thanks to this, the clip turned out to be very bright, very emotional and at the same time very New Year’s!
And so, only when we sat down to edit with Yegor Filonov, and it should be noted that the entire production was ours, did the names “Chimes in the Fog” and “Chacha” come to our minds. This is a kind of Sochi folklore: chacha is a popular drink in Sochi, chimes are a reference to the New Year, and the expression “in the fog” creates a picture of a hookah intoxication. In general, all this is the reality of the 21st century in our city.
In the future we plan to release something similar. Every time we try to attract some relevant chips into our work, we keep a reference to the trends of the generation in which we live. We already have several tracks that we plan to show on video platforms. Because first of all we position ourselves as a humorous video-musical group.
We hope that the public will like our project, and on the eve of the New Year we wish the listeners to find their hashlam of fate, and the listeners - each on a skewer kebab! ”
