“Dagestan” is the name of a duet song performed by popular artists Patimat Kagirova and Ruslana Gasanova, which they will present today to their listeners.
A dynamic, dance track in the Avar language was dedicated by the singers to their native land.
“This is our first duet with Patimat,” says Ruslan, “and I am happy to perform it in my native language, praising our Dagestan, talking about love for the Motherland, the color and originality of our people. We tried to convey through this song exactly the spirit that the author put into the words. The text was written by a wonderful poet - Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed Patakhov, and I wrote the music myself.”
