— Ruslana, please share what story formed the basis of the composition?

— I really love lyrical songs, although every time I tell myself that “that’s it, this is the last sad song in my repertoire!” I once had unrequited love and, probably, the poems were inspired by memories of it. My story goes back many years. But thousands of people love unrequitedly - it was, is and will be. And I wanted to sing for those who experience this feeling and who understand what it is...

— How long have you been collaborating with Marina? Why did you decide to perform a duet?

— For Marina, I wrote the song “Look for You” in 2019. And one more track that will be released this year. I really like her voice. Velvet, beautiful. I didn’t plan to sing with her, we were just in the studio, and I decided to show the new composition to her and the arranger. He took the guitar and we both sang. And somehow the duet turned out naturally. Accidents are not accidental. Marina decorated this song. It wouldn't sound like this without her.

— Are you going to shoot a video for the new single?

— We won’t shoot a video. Because this is exactly the composition that you just need to listen to. She doesn't need video footage. Everyone who listens to this song imagines himself, his love story, memories, pictures, images come to mind. These are different clips of different people.

— Do you plan to release another joint project in the future?

- There will be duets. I hope. But the songs will be more fun (smiles), and in the near future a joint song by Marina and Aslan Gudiev will be ready. This is my new author's work. I'm really looking forward to it.
