Theodor Bastard is a Russian musical group from St. Petersburg, created in 1996 by Alexander Starostin. The group is one of the founders of the world music genre in Russia. The business card of the group, its main feature is the voice and intonation of Yana Veva - the singer and author of many songs. Critics attribute the work of the group to such genres as world music, ethno-electronics, trip-hop, darkwave. Albums of the group are officially published in five countries of the world: Russia, Germany, Turkey, Mexico and Argentina.
