The interregional holiday "Day of the Cossacks" will be held in the Stavropol State Philharmonic Society on the first day of December.
The event was organized by: the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Stavropol Territory, the Committee of the Stavropol Territory on the Affairs of Nationalities and Cossacks, the Stavropol Regional Council of Women. Organizers: State Budgetary Institution of Culture “Stavropol Regional House of Folk Art”, State Institution “Stavropol Regional Cossack Center”.
The guests will plunge into the atmosphere of Cossack life, crafts, cuisine and, of course, songs and dances! Cossack groups from the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, the Rostov Region, the Republics of Kalmykia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia-Alania and the Chechen Republic will present them with their performances on this day.
In addition, the festival will include: an improvisation contest for the ability to be controlled in everyday life “A Cossack is a real one who works!” “My destiny is the Cossacks”, an exhibition of culinary products and works of decorative and applied art “The Cossack Master”.
