According to the online edition intermedia.ru, the album of the Eagles group "Their Greatest Hits 1976-1971", published in 1975, has been sold over 38 million times during its existence. This exceeded the number of purchases for Michael Jackson's 1982 LP "Thriller", which has sold 33 million copies since its release. Thriller is now in second place.
Third place in the list of best-selling albums is another Eagles 1976 CD of the year, entitled “Hotel California” (26 million copies).
