Popular singer and songwriter EGO presented a video for the new composition "Night"
“The song “Night” is a reflection of my inner world and emotions. If you want to see me from the inside, then the easiest way is to listen to this track - it conveys the gray shades of my mood, ”the artist comments.
The story that the author reveals to us happened to him personally. Emotions and feelings were experienced together with her beloved, who later became the wife of EGO.
“In all couples, there are moments when there is a misunderstanding, which leads to the separation of two close people, my half and I coped with this situation. As a result, she became my wife and gave birth to two angels for me,” says EGO.
Each EGO clip is always a great work of the artist on the script, storyboard and video editing, but in this work the author tried himself as a color corrector, and also acted as the director of the clip.
“I like creativity in all its manifestations, so in this project, starting with the song and ending with the video, it is completely my author's work. Initially, I understood that my first shootings would be difficult, based on this, a primitive plot was invented that could be shown in the studio space,” commented EGO.
The video for the song "Night" turned out to be a real mini-movie with actors who were told the plot by life itself. The main characters in the video were EGO and his wife Julia.
“Instead of an actress, I invited my wife, and she perfectly coped with all the tasks,” says EGO.
A team of professionals worked on the creation of the clip. We couldn't get past this news and asked EGO for a comment to learn more about the creative process.
“Naturally, it could not have happened without professionals. The cameraman of this video was my good friend Hayk Baveyan, the technical equipment was provided by the RRR studio RecRentalRostov in the person of my friend Gevorg Olkinyan. Working with such people, and even with the equipment used to shoot films, is a high level, you have to learn and conform, which is what I try to do. We will definitely list the entire team in the credits, but I would like to mention my close friends Marat Khibiev and Gegham Tsaturyan, with whom we collected props for filming for a week and ended up spending 16 hours on the set. True, we did not have time to shoot the last scene according to the script, and we had to get out on the spot, rewriting the ending. This is a great experience for me. In the future we plan to film on a larger scale, but for now, I hope my listener will appreciate all the work done and will treat my first experience as a director with understanding. This is my experiment, searching for myself in something else. Development is the key to success, we are developing. Thank you, friends, for your joint work!” comments EGO.
