New Kavkaz Music Label Released: Xi Dade
Author and performer Karina Co @karina__ko__ released a new composition in the Kabardian language, which she dedicated to her grandfather, and in his person - to everyone else - “Si Dade”.
“Our old people have a wealth of accumulated knowledge and experience immeasurably more than ours. When seniors tell life stories, they can be listened to endlessly, learning invaluable lessons. So, thanks to my grandfather, I learned to value people, to see in them only good qualities.
With this song I want to tell my listeners - take care of your grandparents! Respect, love, appreciate them. After all, one day we will never hear their sweet voice again. And then we will understand that all our “important” things were, in fact, not so important, not worth the days that our relatives spent waiting for our arrival.
They live by us. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't exist at all. Nobody knows how many more times we will have time to see them?! Hug?! Something to share with them?! Let’s make our grandparents happy together and pay more attention to them!” - says Karina Ko.
