Timur Lekhov released an album with songs in the Circassian language called “Cheshu kuuzhem”. The album includes three works: “Zheshu kuuzhem” (“In the evening in the aul”), “Shypsyrane” (“Nettle”) and “Gupshyshe” (“My thoughts”), dedicated to the most joyful emotions that can fill the heart, taking them to the warm aul nights. Hanna Kokhova was the author of the music for the compositions of “Zheshu kuuzhem” and “Gupsche”, the words were written by Kurman Duguzhev. The author of the song "Shypsyrane" was the performer himself.
“The composition of“ Zheshu kuujem ”is one of the most important for me, as it is a story about my native village, where my elders grew up. Mountains stand and remember every rustle of millennia. The song embraces feelings of devotion to its origins, describes the depths of forests and the greatness of the rocks, ”says Timur.
