Meet a new composition in the Balkar language - “Zukhrany iynagay” (“Zukhra’s Song”) performed by Zukhra Teberdieva @zukhra_teberdieva.
“The story of my song is eternal,” explains the performer, “it is love, the bright and tender feelings of a girl who is looking for the way to her chosen one. This topic has no time or age.
The composition is slightly inspired by retro images and is based on Kazim Mechiev’s poem “Tahir and Zukhra” - a well-known story of beautiful and tragic love. These metaphors and images give the song its name. The main idea is that love is the most wonderful feeling, without which life simply loses its meaning, and everyone should take care of it.
