January 25 we celebrate Tatiana's Day and Students Day
Since 25 in January in 1755, Empress Elizaveta Petrovna signed the decree “On the establishment of Moscow University”, today has officially become a holiday for all Russian students. And since this event coincided with the Day of St. Tatiana, she began to be considered their patroness. So every year in our country 25 January are two holidays - Tatiana Day and Students Day.
