Museum "North Caucasus" will be built in Krasnaya Polyana
In 2021, residents and guests of the Sochi resort will get acquainted with a new object - a museum dedicated to the culture of the Caucasian peoples will be built in Krasnaya Polyana.
The exhibition complex under the name “Northern Caucasus” will be divided into pavilions, each of which will be dedicated to the history and culture of different regions of the Caucasus.
According to the head of the center Irina Guilli, bas-reliefs with portraits of national poets and quotations of their poems will become a common element for all the pavilions.
In addition, visitors to the complex will also be able to get acquainted with the Museum of Bread, representing the Krasnodar Territory, as well as the pavilions dedicated to Kalmykia, Astrakhan and Rostov regions.
It is noteworthy that in the very center of the complex there will be the Square of Faith. There will be installed mock-ups of the Orthodox church, a mosque, an Armenian church and a synagogue.
