Nashid artist Khabib Islamov, who is also the author and arranger, released his first album together with the music publishing house “Zvuk-M”.
“Habibi” is the name of the album, which included 24 nasheeds, most of which were performed in Dargin and Arabic.
“I have been performing nasheeds since 2008, I believe that they reveal the greatest meaning and contain more logic than popular songs,” comments the performer, “the nasheeds are mainly dedicated to praising the Prophet. It somehow comes from the outside: listening to music, I get inspired, ideas appear that I subsequently embody in my own studio.”
The idea to release an album came to the performer last year. Then, from his many works, he chose the ones most suitable for the general concept and gave it a symbolic name - “Habibi”.
"Habibi" - translated as "beloved." This is the meaning of my name too. And since this is my first album, it seemed appropriate to call it that,” says Habib.
At the moment, he is preparing a new project - Nasheeds in Russian, which will also eventually be released as a separate album.
