Biography of Zulfiya Chotchaeva

Zulfiya Chotchaeva was born on July 15, 1994 in Karachay-Cherkessia, where she spent all her childhood and youth. 

Zulfiya's love for music manifested itself in her childhood. It was Grandmother and aunt who instilled a love for music, friends and neighbors regularly gathered in their house, playing folk songs and ditties.

After school, she entered the North Caucasus Academy at the Faculty of Economics. As a student, Zulfiya continued to develop in creativity. She regularly performed at concerts, demonstrating the power of her voice. At the same time, she loved not only to sing, but also to play in various miniatures. Having received a diploma of higher education, Zulfiya did not work in her profession. She plunged headlong into creativity.

Creative way

The girl recorded the first single "Don't be sad" in high school.

While studying at the university, the performer continued to record new compositions and perform in public. 

For many years, the singer has been composing author's songs and performing them with her husband. Remarkably, the duet sings not only in Russian, but also in the Karachai language. 

In 2018, Zulfiya and Islam presented the songs "My Dreams" and "Dance". Two full-fledged albums "Be with me" and "My soul" were also released. A year later, Zulfiya pleased with the solo release "You never know."

Now Zulfiya is a famous blogger and singer. She is known far beyond the borders of her homeland, and individual songs become real hits.

Successes and achievements:

• In 2017, the first big duet concert took place at the Republican Drama Theater. Spectators came not only from all over Karachay-Cherkessia, but also from neighboring Kabardino-Balkaria.
• November 2021 Islam with Zulfiya presented the songs "Stop Music" and "Hot Coffee" on Radio Shanson with great success.
• The hallmark of the duet is the composition "Stop Music". Since the day of its release, the song has been steadily gaining popularity, and the clip, stylized as the 90s, has already gained more than 5 views. In total, all videos with the song "Stop Music" on YouTube have about 600 views. 
• Zulfiya is successfully developing her social networks: Instagram - 258 subscribers, TikTok - 000 subscribers. Videos on the YouTube channel gain from 552 to 000 views and consistently fall into YouTube trends.
• In December 2021, Islam Malsuigenov and Zulfiya Chotchaeva became guests of Andrey Malakhov's talk show "Hi, Andrey!" on the Russia-1 TV channel, where Islam and Zulfiya a cappella sang the song “Handsome Elbrus” in Karachay and Russian, told a little about the traditions of their people and even treated the guests of the studio to khychins.
• Before the New Year 2022, the duet was invited to visit Radio Chanson for a live broadcast in the Star Breakfast program and for the New Year's corporate party of Radio Chanson, where they performed the hit "Stop Music" and met the stars of Russian chanson: Mikhail Shufutinsky, Soso Pavliashvili, Alexander Ivanov, Sergey Mazaev and other artists.
