XVII International Competition "New Wave-2018" started in Sochi
This year 15 singers from 10 countries of the world participated in the competition: Russia (Daria Antonyuk, Dan Rozin, Ana Zorina, Ethnocapil, Ki? Tua!, Jackets Live), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Italy, Kazakhstan Canada, Greece, Ukraine and Malta.
Artists, jury and spectators gathered in the New Wave Hall in the Olympic Park, where they will be held all five days of competition.
Presenters of the event are Andrei Malakhov and Lera Kudryavtseva. Traditionally, the concert was opened by famous Russian performers, but today the audience also met with the contestants.
The participants will be judged by a competent jury consisting of: Igor Krutoy, Igor Nikolaev, Filipp Kirkorov, Alsou, Sergey Lazarev, Angelika Varum and others.
The creative evening of the A'STUDIO band will take place on September 5, Vladimir Presnyakov on the September 6, Irina Allegrova's evening on the 7 evening, the premiere evening on 8 September, and the winners of the contest will be revealed on the 9 at a large gala concert.
